Whilst still at school, she passed the C-level examination in church music in the Archdiocese of Cologne. After completing her A-levels, she undertook a Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degree in Catholic church music at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, receiving comprehensive training in choral conducting, orchestral conducting, organ repertoire and liturgical organ playing. She went on to complete an advanced Master\u2019s degree in choral conducting at the Robert Schumann University of Music under Professor Dr Martin Berger in D\u00fcsseldorf. As musical assistant to the cathedral cantor Oliver Sperling with the Cologne Cathedral Girls\u2019 Choir, she gained extensive experience in the field of girls\u2019 choir conducting.
