Most of the approximately 30 young singers have grown up singing in the cathedral\u2019s choirs for boys and girls. Altogether the choirs for young voices consist of 180 singers, aged from 8 to 25 years old. The choirs aim for musical experiences at an ambitious level in respect of musical education, concerts and services at the cathedral, of music camps, choir festivals, choir competitions and of tours. The cathedral\u2019s concert series \u201cYoung people sing\u201d is very popular, and the concert on the Swedish National Day, June 6, is always crowded.
