Carlo Pavese

Carlo Pavese is a musician from Turin, where he also graduated in choral music and composition at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Turin. He intensified his interest in contemporary choral music under the mentorship of Gary Graden in Stockholm. Since then Carlo has conducted several choirs. In 2003 he founded the youth choir Coro G and in 2005 he became artistic director of the Piccoli Cantori di Torino association with its children’s choir, youth choir and music school. He has been appointed conductor of the Italian Youth Choir (2017-2019) by the Italian Choral Association Feniarco. Carlo Pavese performs concerts throughout Italy and Europe, both with his own choirs and as a guest conductor. He is also frequently invited to give lectures on choral conducting, interpretation and choral improvisation, and to conduct choral ateliers. His compositions and arrangements are performed both in Italy and abroad.
