Tristan Meister received his first musical education with the Limburg Cathedral Boys’ Choir. He then studied choir conducting with Georg Grün, Frieder Bernius and Harald Jers as well as orchestral conducting with Klaus Arp at the Mannheim Music Academy. Tristan Meister is the conductor of various choirs such as chamber choir Vox Quadrata, Youth Choir Hochtaunus and the Worms Chamber Ensemble and performs oratorio and choral symphonic works of all epochs with the Beethoven Choir Ludwigshafen. In 2019 Tristan Meister took over the artistic direction of the boys’ choir Cantus Juvenum Karlsruhe. He is also the founder and conductor of the Ensemble Vocapella Limburg. With the ensemble he became first prize winner at the German Choir Competition 2014 and 2016 at the International Choir Competition in Varna (Bulgaria). There he was also awarded the special prize for the best conducting performance of the competition. Tristan Meister is editor of several choral books, a regular juror at competitions and works as a lecturer for choral conducting at the Karlsruhe University of Education and the Frankfurt Music College.
