Skowroneczki Girls Choir is the middle group of the SKOWRONKI Girls’ Choir from Poznań, Poland. SKOWRONKI Girls Choir was established in 1950 and is considered to be one of the best choirs in Poland. The choir has already won many competitions, among them the sought-after “Golden Lute” at the national choral competition Legnica Cantat. From its beginning it has been affiliated with ZAMEK Cultural Centre, the main cultural institution in Poznań. The group’s artistic director is Alicja Szeluga, it is conducted by Julia Łynsza and accompanied by pianist Czesław Łynsza, and the percussionist Beata Polak completes the musical team. The SKOWRONECZKI choir regularly performs in Poznań and Wielkopolska region. The choir has already taken part three times in the Trillme International Girls’ Choir Festival, Poznań, Poland (2014, 2016, 2018). The latest success of the choir is the first place awarded in the category for children’s choirs at the National Choral Festival “Cantio Lodziensis”, Łódź, Poland (2017).
