The girls’ choir Canzone was founded in 2001 by Ulrika Grauberg and this season consists of 70 singers aged 7-35. Canzone is the choir of the Haapsalu Cultural Centre. The singers are taught by Ulrika Grauberg, Eneken Viitmaa and Teele Takjas. The repertoire of Canzone is diverse and ranges from medieval canons to modern arrangements of pop hits, works by Estonian composers, Estonian folk music settings, gospel music, spirituals and choral music with jazz motifs. Canzone has its permanent place in the cultural scene of Haapsalu.  The choir gives concerts throughout the year and can look back on concerts in Finland, Denmark, Italy, China, Spain, Greece and in various cities in Estonia. Already at the Eurotreff 2019 the choir could inspire in Wolfenbüttel.
